Error 1012: We believe this occurs when an HTTP proxy is enabled in certain network configurations. We are investigating changes to our authentication process to address this. For the time being, please confirm that your PC is *not* using an HTTP proxy before patching. (paste previous instructions for disabling HTTP proxy here)

I got the same problem and spent over a week sending e-mails to trion and phoning them everyday.  Got so fed up today I just cancelled my subscription.   I asked for a refund for this month and thay said

'because i have been shown to play the game that i have been denied a refund.'

If you play for even 5 mins then get a trion update that renders your game useless you dont get any money back.. lol.  What a bunch of greedy bastards.

Check this out by the way.  I asked for it in writing so I could dispute their descision & this is what they e-mailed me.  Caps an all !

"ALL SUBSCRIPTION FEES (INCLUDING ANY GAME CARD REDEEMED FOR SUBSCRIPTION SERVICES) ARE PAYABLE IN ADVANCE AND ARE NOT REFUNDABLE IN WHOLE OR IN PART. YOU AGREE THAT TRION IS NOT REQUIRED TO PROVIDE A REFUND FOR ANY REASON, AND THAT YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE MONEY BACK FOR PRE-PAID TIME WHEN AN ACCOUNT IS CLOSED, WHETHER VOLUNTARILY OR INVOLUNTARILY."

LOLOLOLOLlololol,  not required to provide a refund for ANY reason!  what a bunch of bastards!
