+5
votes
is this email real or fake???
Hello!
We have the evidence to prove that your account involved in the controversial game currency transaction. If your account is found violating Terms of Use, it can, and will be suspended.
So we have reviewed our logs of your account, and we were able to determine the following:
*Battle.Net Account Name: ******@gmail.com
*Battle.Net Account Action: 44 Hour Suspension
We strongly suggest you review our current Rules and Policies to avoid further action in the future, please submit your account information at :
http://www.blizzard.com/en/es/policy/warning/
While we will attempt to address all concerns as promptly as possible, it may be several days before we are able to respond depending on the total inquiries we receive. If you ignore this mail your account can and will be closed permanently.
Regards,

This is a real email. The biggest tip off for fake emails is that they ask you to visit a site and provide information about your account.
This one is just a simple notification that your account has been temporarily suspended.

Its fake.
First, Blizzard doesn't warn you that your account is going to be banned unless you contact them. They simply ban you and email saying they've done it. Secondly, it says "please submit your account information at:" and in the email it DOES give an actual Blizzard website however if you hold your cursor over the link in your email it won't be a Blizzard/Battle.net address.
Its a phishing scam, ignore it.
