in rift how do you check your mail?

i have a mail icon under my map in Rift but not sure how i go about opening my mail?

Look for mailboxes located around the area. To check the mail you just have to right- click on the mailbox to send or recieve mail. You can send items, money, and write messages to any player on your side that you want. After you get the mail you can either delete, return, or reply to their message.
