how do you get your toddler to have an imaginary friend in the sims 3 generations?

I hate this problem but you have to have another kid then as a toddler they have to love it alot and play with it alot then when they age up if it has high enough friendship it should age up with them.

Actually, You don't need to have a kid. Sometimes, after you have a child, a toy will come in the mail. That's it's aimaginary friend.
