what carries over from the original dragon age to dragon age ii if you import save file?

The decisions you made in the original Dragon Age carry over. The whole world and whatever happened, also happened in Dragon Age 2 if you chood to import your saved game. So if you hate the way you played the first one consider starting a fresh games Dragon Age 2.
