i died and lost all my stuff in minecraft, can i get it back?

Well, it depends, if you die from heights, yes but you can't get back if you take more then 10:00 (ten minutes) to get back to it, or it's gone. Drowning, yes, and the current takes it to anywhere it flows. Suffocating, yes, but the item will be glitched in the gravel or sand until you break it. in lava, no, all your items will burn up, leaving the lava there as if nothing changed. lava will eat anything you throw or put in it. fire, yes/no there is a 50/50 chance becauseif you die in fire, the fire spreads only one block and if you die, some of the items burn up, while the others may survival outside. fell out of the world? no. your items become vanquished. smashed by a piston, yes, but make it back by ten! blown up, no, Tnt and creepers explode and destory your items. Mauled to death, yes but make it back in ten! shot full of arrows, yes still, be back at ten! hope this helped!
