whats the most strongest armor to wear on terraria?

The 'strongest' armor is dependant on the user.

If you wish to be the best defensive player - Molten armor with an attack buff

If you wish to be the best mana user - Jungle armor will be the best armor due to the mana reduction buff.

If you wish to be the fastest (useful on bosses) in open spaces - Go for Necro armor for the 20% speed extra.

Also using potions to increase your defence would make your armor stronger temperarily.

Well the "Strongest Armor" in Terraria would be the Molten Armor.

Including the Cobalt shield makes the set even stronger.
