terraria is there a way to save the game without having to exit it?

like if i just want to save my progress in the game without exiting in case my computer crashes or something

is there a save without exit button?

couldnt find one

right now i just save and exit every 30 minutes or so and then go back to the game but it can be annoying

The only way to save your current position is to make a temporary house with a bed and set your spawn point.

There is no other way.
