You have a shield. Its the sign that looks like a triangle that faces downwards. First of all, that shield is important! You have to put that shield on, and then switch your sign to Yrden. With that, you have to stand near a tentacle, and when the monster raises that tentacle, quickly lay down Yrden, and then the tentactle is down, it should be trapped. Then hack and slash at its arm, and repeat this 3 times.

Dont forget to put the shield back up, in case if youre hit.

After those 3 times, there is a little quick time event. Nothing all to difficult. Then when you can walk again, run up to the stone platform on your left. If you dont do that, you will get hit by a massive block and its instant death. At least it was for me. Reach the top of the stone platform and youre done.
