it depends what style you prefer. PES is less about speed and more about strategy. FIFA is less about thinking and more about reacting.

I would prefer Fifa since overall it seems like a more polished game, it has better graphics and has a much higher score for metacritics

If you are in Pc,i would go with Fifa,after so many is fifa is really good on pc,also Pes promised so much this year,but failed

Personal opinion is FIFA11, mostly because I prefer the faster style of play. Critics used to be mostly in favour of PES,  but since about PES09 they have began to turn to fifa :D
