While playing as the humans, be sure to remember you can Stasis groups of enemies. This helps immensely.

As the necromorphs, be sure to travel in packs to avoid being picked off. There really is no best class to play, as they all have their strengths and weaknesses. If you find you're having trouble up close, though, try the ranged one.
