should I buy crysis 2 or homefront?

If you would want a very realistic alien virus game, get Crysis 2. But if you want a game more like Call of Duty then get Homefront. But Homefront is full of bugs and hackers.

 

I very much prefer Crysis 2. it has a better story, better graphics, and better campain.

crysis 2. it's got a fun single player and interesting abilities in the multiplayer with the nano suit. it's also pretty much guaranteed to have a much larger community than homefront, which is a pretty shallow clone of call of duty.

Crysis 2 by a LONG SHOT! homefront has been described as pretty mediocre, regular fps. Crysis 2 mixes it up with the nanosuit, which makes it awesome!!! plus crysis graphics have forever been known as 'the best' of any game yet.

Why not Homefront ? Well alot of people still saying that there a bugs in this game and alot of hackers. So if this is patched/fixed i would still say Crysis2.

Just a slight caveat for Homefront buyers.

Check to see if there are Homefront servers near your place. if not, you're pretty much paying $50 for a 5 hour game. That is $10 per hour.

Crysis 2

It has better reviews, according to metacritics it has a score of 85 for xbox, 86 for ps3 and 87 for pc while homefront is onlyhas a score of 70 for each console.

You should buy Crysis 2 if you are looking for a good solid single player experiance, though the multiplayer is fairly good too.  Homefronts singleplayer on the otherhand is very weak but there is a lot more variety of play in the multiplayer.

For single player, Crysis 2 no contest.

But, if you want a fun multiplayer also then you should get Homefront.

Crysis 2's multiplayer needs a ton of tweaking. Currently every match you join will have most people using nanovision and snipers, which is basically point and click mode. You'll find that using most armor abilites feel useless comparetively as well.

Crysis 2 is vastly superior. The multiplayer is more balanced, the single player is engrossing and the graphics are stunning. Homefront is still a fun game but crysis 2 is better.

 

EDIT: My comment on the multiplayer is personal preference. Homefront's multi is varied but in my opinion not as balanced.

If you looking for single player and pretty good mulitplayer than go with Crysis 2.If you just want mulit along with a single player thats just okay than get Homefront.I would take Crysis 2.

I'd buy crisis 2 besides the fact that its a great game that only few can run. HOMEFRONT has a short single player but the multiplayer is awesome, which is probably because it has VAC, VALVe's anti-cheat system that really kicks ass. If I were you and I had a great gaming PC, i would go for crysis, but if I wanted a fun multiplayer, i;d go for homefront, especially if your PC isn't one of the best out there.
