Brink nvidia opengl driver has lost connection with the display driver error 8

why am i getting this error?

my graphics card gpu is GeForce GTX570

I had that same thing happen to me a few times right after release... however i beleive it has been fixed because it seems to have stopped happening. It's just a driver problem with Brink, but if its not fixed yet it should be soon...

Be lucky that you don't have an ATI card... apparently Brink plays terrible on them. My friend has a 5850 which is about the same as my GTX 460 however I can max out brink with AA and i get 45+ fps and he gets 15 fps with no AA -_-

If its happening a lot than all I can suggest is to make sure you have the newest drivers installed.
