i keep getting:

You have lost your connection to the Mass Effect 3 server. You must connect again to access online features of the title

what does this mean

It means that the idiots at EA have their server(s) failing... its STUPID! and the worst, it also affects single player.

Answer 2

1. Clear Save folder.
2. Launch the game. (Dont use the Cloud storage in Origin!)
3. Play multiplayer.
4. Exit the game.
5. Return old saves. (In my case i gave them old correct names)
6. Profit.
