how do you kill giant plant on bulletstorm?

They do a shitty job of explaining how to kill the thing. Slide around until you take out all the orange pollen balls, then when it turns upside down, shoot the orange tentacles. Then shoot its neck when it turns orange. I shot the thing for 40mins straight without anything happening. I almost took the game out of my xbox and shattered it on my wall.

 

Game sucks tbh...

Just keep shooting orange parts, the neck part is very easy to kill with the sniper rifle, does lots of damage.
