where do you find gold in minecraft?

Gold is found underground, a ways below where iron starts to be found. It shouldn't be too hard to find it.

 

Find a cave, and once you've gone down a little bit, about 20-25 down from surface level, and you'll start to find gold. It's a rare material, so make sure to check in nooks and crannies for it. Gold can be found from that layer all the way down to the bottom of the map. From my own experience, it seems that it becomes a little easier to find gold the further down you go.

u have to explore and hope to find some and gold is mostly found near lava pits

make sure you use an iron pickaxe before trying to harvest the more rare and valuable ores, if you use say - a stone pickaxe for a diamond block, you will break it and recieve nothing. So be careful.

gold is found between levels 10 and 18.

most common at 16.
