In terraria I tried to defeat de wall of flesh and my guide was killed and now he isn't respawning

The only reason he isnt respawning is you got rid of his house or his house items he needs a FULL wall a chair workbench and table and a light and a door once he has them he will come back if he does not it could be a bug check his home
