which game is better dragon age 2 or dragon age origins?

Dragon Age: Origins is a better game. It's longer, has a much more enveloping story, and allows you to equip your own companions.

Dragon Age 2 was basically JUST a sequel. It served no purpose other than to proress with the story of the Trilogy.

So go with Origins if you want a better game.

As far as the on hands game play; DA2 hands down.

However in terms of having a more solid story (which in my opinion is more important); Origins.
