which games is better cod black ops or halo reach?

Call of duty is more camp and spawn kill where Halo is more run and gun.

Its down to personal preference though, for me it is Halo Reach.

I prefer Halo. I preferred the single player in Reach and I think the multiplayer is easier to get into since everything non-cosmetic is available from the start.

It's all up to opinion, but for me, it's Halo. I'm not really into the whole "corner camping" thing that goes on in Black Ops, but some people are.

I guess if you are talking about gameplay Call of Duty is somewhat more realistic while Halo feeling a bit more arcadey.

Atmosphere wise you have once again a real world setting vs sci fi.

I for one prefer the halo series cuz I enjoy single player just as much ^^

Haven't played Halo Reach.

Black Ops on PC was rather buggy. I'm not sure if the bugs have been fixed.

And the story more is short. The online is a mixed bag. Some love it. Some don't.

Halo reach, every single time. It's just way more strategised and there's way more fun to be had.

Single player-wise, Halo Reach is a sci-fi space FPS. If you like the idea of shooting Aliens and flying around in space, then this is the game for you. Halo has always been known for it's lore, and there is a ton of it in Halo Reach.

Black Ops is a down to earth, more practical shooter. It takes place in the Cold War. It is fiction, though, while a few elements are historically accurate the most of this game is not.

Multiplayer, however, these are two titans.

Halo Reach is heavily run and gun. You have shields, armor, and huge power weapons. It is fun, and made even funner by the addition of armor abilities.

Black Ops is a BIG twitch shooter. In the average fire fight, it comes down to who sees who first. It takes very little effort to kill someone, and is very accessable. However, again.. It takes very little effort to kill someone, so this game can get very frustrating.

 

Be warned, though. Neither of these games are a particular safe haven from prebubescent teens.

It depends, Halo:Reach is much more enjoyable to play, and there's fun gametypes like Grifball and Living Dead. That and the campaign is pretty fun, with various new weapons to try out.

CoD: Black Ops is another Call of Duty game, very similar weapons to MW 1/2 and World at War, but i guess some would say its more 'realistic', and more of a 'serious FPS'. That said, the campaign was really fun, with more new vehicles and ways of taking down opponents.

I'd say Reach, but if you can, get both.

this games are for different things.

Story:

Halo - long fantastic saga, you need to play previous game to understand what is going on

COD - extremely realistic, conspiracy theories. Real life

Singleplayer:

Halo - vehicles

COD - lots of guns and cinematic moments

Multiplayer:

COD - pure fun, a lot of unlockables, costumes, levels and etc.

Halo - more cybersport oriented, very simple and pure

In my opinion COD is much more better, but a lot of people prefer Halo and there is nothing wrong. It depends on what you prefer

I prefer Halo: Reach. They're kind of different gaming experiances though. While they're both shoot 'em up games, but there are different maps, game types, and are essentially made by different companies.

it's actually your opinion but if you like future alien shooters then Halo, but if you like modern war games then COD but cod is campin' little kids, but halo has less whiny OMG HAX kids, so i prefer Halo.
