so I'm not the only one whos got that problem angry

open steam, right click on Skyrim, than hit properties, go to local files and hit the validate game cache files...
That fixed mine.

i did so but then got an error that it was continuously "Update paused" and when I fixed that and re-installed it had the original problem...
