modern warfare 3 crashes in intro movie and it says iw5sp.exe has stopped working?

MW3 what the heck man... bought it today played first mission game goes to load mission 2 and screen goes black says iw5sp.exe has failed.  HELP??!!

could mean not enough memory? try closing all other programs and then launching it

Seems a lot of people have the glitch, its nothing to do with memory. Just a bug that'll probably be patched soon, in the meantime, try multiplayer :(

answer from mw3 forum right click the game in your steam library go to properties-local files -then verify integrity of game cache

unless of course you didn't connect the game to steam then my fix was a simple reinstall..fixed the error up until i got it again about 20% through SP, but at least I could play some MW3...
