Ask YOUR question:

How much load time are you spared installing the game?

For various games on the 360, you can install the game and I've heard this cuts load times. Has anyone really seen much difference for games like Cod: Black Ops or DAO?

Install times typical do cut load times, but few of them decrease it by a noticable amount. The biggest benefit to installing games is actually that it keeps the system cooler since it doesn't have to spin the disc.

As for the games you listed, I do not own Black Ops, however DA:O's is one of the few that actually does reduce it's load times by a very noticable amount through installation.

Depends entirely on the game, but sometimes there is a large difference in loading times.  It's also worth it to spare your DVD drive the effort, prolonging its use.

For huge games like DA, the improvement is massive....

But it really depends on what game you are installing.
